Beware of fake Super Bowl tickets

There is still some time left to buy a ticket to the Super Bowl, but buyers beware. Not all tickets for sale are legit. Because the tickets are hard to come by, many people have been going online to websites like eBay.

The Steelers and Seahawks are headed to Super Bowl XL in Detroit, and everything from the hype to the ticket prices will be extra large. There are ticket scalpers, travel packages and parties. There is a ticket lottery and a staggering price tag for just about everything.

One couple in Cranberry found tickets for $1550, but when they contacted eBay about the deal, they found out that the tickets were apart of a scam. Before purchasing tickets to the Super Bowl, people should make sure to look for hologram on the front, with the letters XL in red. Beware of ticket scams: Spot a fake Super Bowl ticket
